Information Text on the Processing of Personal Data of Our Passengers


Identity of the Data Controller:

This information text has been prepared by S.S. Çukurova Regional Airport Transportation and Operations Cooperative (Havamaş) as the data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.


Your Processed Personal Data:

Personal data of individuals calling our call center, such as their name, voice recording, call duration, time of the call, passenger’s journey time, and personal information shared during the call, will be recorded.

During ticket sales and transfer services, nationality, Turkish ID or passport number, full name, seat number, departure/destination point, ticket serial number, ticket issuance date and time, and baggage number will be collected, and passenger identification will be scanned via handheld terminals.


Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data:

Personal data of individuals calling our call center:

  • To address the caller correctly,
  • To ensure transaction security,
  • To use as evidence in potential future disputes,
  • To record, review, and promptly respond to notifications such as requests, suggestions, complaints, and objections,
  • To measure and enhance service quality,
  • To fulfill legal rights and obligations.

Personal data collected during passenger transfers:

  • To issue tickets,
  • To verify the identity of the traveler,
  • To monitor, evaluate, and audit passenger movements electronically under the “Regulation on the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road” and to report to the Ministry of Transportation,
  • To fulfill obligations arising from legislation.

To Whom and for What Purpose Your Personal Data May Be Transferred:

Your personal data:

  • To Tecmony Software Consulting Services Limited Company for the functioning of our call center and the electronic storage of records,
  • To the Ministry of Transportation and Revenue Administration via identity scans conducted with handheld terminals during ticket sales and transfers,
  • To Airport Management, Law Enforcement, and judicial authorities upon written request, in compliance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data:

Your personal data will be obtained electronically via our call center software and the Transportation Electronic Monitoring and Control System (U-ETDS) or physically via issued tickets. Before travel begins, passengers’ identities will be scanned with handheld terminals and processed into the U-ETDS system. The obtained personal data will be processed under the Road Transport Law No. 4925, Road Transport Regulation (RTR), Regulation on the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road, and Income Tax Law to fulfill our obligations and based on the legal reason that “processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.”

Rights of the Data Subject:

You can submit your requests under Article 11 of the law regulating the rights of the data subject by using the "Data Subject Application Form" available at www.havamas.com and sending it to the address of S.S.
